However many miles up in the air right now I wish I wasn’t feeling so crappy. I have had a cold for the last week and the pressure up here is making my head spin. It was finally feeling better today and then on this flight it has been the worst.
As soon as we got in the sky my face went nuts with pressure. It felt like I was getting sick all over again. Then I thought drinking something would help but my teeth got extra sensitive. They felt like something soft could break them which is not a good feeling. Sure enough toward the end when we started descending I blew my nose and a giant clump of yellow-green boogers came out… felt like I birthed a small creature from my nose and popped my ears.
Note to self must look up hacks to combat cabin pressure changes with regards to a cold when flying because otherwise anytime I have a cold, you bet I am not going in the air.
On a completely different note, it was the first time I have flown with snow on the ground which was cool taking off. Also, the flight attendant I handed the chocolates to was very appreciative. Happy I could give them something sweet.
I ended the flight, got off the plane. The man I handed the chocolates to at the beginning thanked me as I left the flight for giving him and the other crew the chocolates.
