This city gives everyone who lives in it the chance to have everything. In the musical RENT, there is a line in a song called Sante Fe, it goes “it’s a comfort to know that anywhere else you could possibly go after New York would be, a pleasure cruise.” After living here for 6 years I would have to agree. 

This town is hard. The fact that being a flight attendant is allowing me the opportunity to live in one of the most expensive cities in the world, is a privledge. Especially when everything in this city is so accessible.

If you have the money you can get anything in this city. Money is key. While I’m not making a ton of money I am certainly getting by. 

Everything is truly at your finger tips though and that makes vices accessible and self restraint important.
