Biting my nails was a bad habit I have had since I was young. People would see my nails and ask how I could bite them so short. 

Since having this job, I stopped biting them cause I knew if I kept it up they were going to make me sick. So many germs on an airplane. 

Now though, I have to adhere to the alloys colors for my company. I get away with painting them a gold color. My company wants our nails to be nuetral. They specify no black, blue or purple. 

I find it frustrating that I’m limited to colors I can wear on my nails and think they should simply say we need to have presentable nails. However, I get it. I’ll abide by it, even if I dislike it. 

It just means I paint my nails black every chance I get when I know I don’t need to be on a trip in 4 days.
