Lying in my hotel I am fighting to keep my eyes open. I have a movie on, one I’ve seen before. I have taken a shower and nursed the blisters on my feet. Only 3 hours ago we were landing on the first flight ever that I was a flight attendant on.

My crew and the crew that I will now be with till the end of the week is spectacular and made this first flight.

The supervisor who is taking me through this journey was direct and very respectful and told me what I needed to work on while recognizing that I know my stuff. I’m one to over achieve and admittedly took some pride that she noticed how well prepared I was.

I have a full 46 hours in this city and tomorrow I fully have plans already to go into the city to wander around.

I feel happy and relieved that I had such a good time on my first training flight. I must admit it made me miss ships a bit as it felt oddly similar to a first day on any ship I’ve been on. I love the uniformity and the organization. Yay!
